NFL.com is reporting that the Eagles have resigned backup RB Correll Buckhalter. Buckhalter missed three of the past four seasons with knee injuries but had nearly 350 yards and a pair of TDs last year. Good idea keeping him around, or should Philly have gone for a less injury prone tailback?

I am still waitng for this ex-Corn Husker to prove he is worth signing...he shows just enough skill to hang on...

Same here, Goth. Worlds of potential but fragile as fine China. Hanging on is a good way to describe his career, and it's a shame cause he could have been so much more. Now it might be too late.

The only redeeming grace if there is one, is that Nebraska fans are so loyal that they still buy his football cards from me...imagine if he had made a better showing in the pros...
