Re: Eagles free agency Guess it depends on how much they have to spend. They usually have pretty good cap space. Garcia is gone to Bucs so I guess they will make Stallworth an offer, but they will not bust the bank for him. He has some great numbers, but a long history of injury. Of course he is the only good WR out there, but the Birds front office does not over spend... well $12.5M to Juqua Thomas is normal for a back-up D lineman right They need a LB and some DB, I think.

Re: Eagles free agency Well with Hood gone that means a DB will be our 1st rd pick. Not a great class and with us picking 27th it does not look great. Revies from Pitt or McCauley from Fresno, neither of whom I like. Revies played BIG EAST agst Rutgers, Louisville and WVU , while I am hard pressed to think who did Fresno play. Perhaps a LB at this spot would be better for us.

Re: Eagles free agency He signed with Ariz or someone like that. Not sure who exactly, but he is gone. He wanted starter money and he was only our #3 guy so time to move on... like Al Harris a few years ago.

Re: Eagles free agency Well Michael Lewis had lost his starting job so no need rush to find a back-up safety. Look to find someone in the draft you can groom. Stallworth will be tougher. There are no true #1 receivers out there so go with what we got, try and find someone who fits our system and above all, CAN CATCH and stay healthy. See what you can find in the draft. Always good players in the draft. What rd did Jerry Rice go in??? Not the 1st I'm sure, so do our homework.
