So the Eagles are NFC East champions, thanks largely to the Detroit Lions victory over the Dallas Cowboys earlier today, and they will host the New York Giants in the first round of the playoffs. Who do you guys like in this one?

Well, first I'd like to thank Detroit. Anyway, I think the Eagles will win but then have a tough rematch with New Orleans the following week.

Eagles - 24
Giants - 17

I have a feeling the Giants are going to win. Giants 24-17.

What has me feeling very peculiar is the strange uberconfidence coming from the Eagles. Especially their defense which has talked about getting on Eli Manning early and shutting down Tiki Barber.

After the last game agst the Gmen the Philly defense was talking about how scared Manning looked. They said he was doing anything to avoid being hit. Too bad he is not like his dad... in all my years of watching football I don't think I ever saw a man get hit as much as Archie Manning.

This is the one game that worries me, aside from the fact that we're playin' a division rival for the third time. Barber is also preforming well in his farewell tour. If the Eagles play like they have the past four weeks and achive victory. Then the Saints aint gonna want none of us.

Key is for the D to put the pressure on Manning. He has proved that he can not handle that constant in-your-face type of pressure, so stack the line agst Tiki and force Manning to throw. If Tiki can run, then it could be tough.

That looks like it will be the game right there, whether Tiki Barber can have success running the ball. If he does, the Philly defense won't be able to focus on blitzing the daylights out of Manning.

Exactly. If you look at the Jints this year, when they ran Barber they won. When they didn't they lost. Manning is, to me, a lot of hype because of his father and brother. He panics too quickly and is afraid to get hit. Eagles need to get to him quick.

Impressive drive for Giants to start the game with a TD.

Giants picked up a key 3rd & 1 on their TD drive with Jared Lorenzen making a QB sneak. Have they been using that play much this year?

Tiki with a nice run. He's on his way to a big game if this keeps up and the Giants don't have to play catch up in this game.
