There's a rumor saying AI has demanded a trade. He has since been sent home by the Sixers and will not play in their next two games.

The Sixers aren't saying whether he's demaned a trade or not, saying they benched him beacause of back spasms.

So, count me in for those who believe AI will be traded soon.

When they did goto the finals it was 100 percent cause of AI he has always carried the organzation and its sad that we have to wait till late in his prime to see what he can do on a real team

Say what you want about the guy off the court but once he steps foot on it, he's always giving 150% of himself on every play. I agree with you that they failed to build a serious team around him. The shame is his prime is probably passed now and who knows how great he could've been if he had the right supportive cast.

I hope he can get dealt to a good situation and do great things in the playoffs.

Iverson may be a jerk, but he's a jerk who can ball. Always among the top 10 or so in scoring and assists, and there'd be a lot of teams that would benefit from having him on the roster. So where might he wind up?

What's new is that the Sixers are, finally, going to go ahead and deal him. Says Philly chairman Ed Snider, "It's just time for him to go his way and for us to go our way... We're going to trade him. At a certain point, you have to come to grips with the fact that it's not working. He wants out and we're ready to accommodate him."

Dallas and Boston are said to be the frontrunners right now.

AI aveages roughly 40 minutes a night for most of his career...so yeah, he gives it his all...and he has given them plenty of years to build up...now if he just makes his way over to the Bobcats...we might have an experienced team leader...or the next TO...

It would be too much to hope that he could go to the Cavs to complement LeBron.

I never really liked him, and I have been watching him since his Gtown days. His time on the USA team made me respect him. The team wasn't playing well, and he stepped up as a leader.

I don't think he's officially (and publicly) demanded a trade before. This time though, he wants out and management says they're trying to trade him and heed his request.

If I'm Minnesota, I'm trying like hell to get him and partner him up with KG. They have some young guys I'm sure Philly would want.

id take him over marbury but the sixers dont want marbury. I might give up a frye, i think david lee is a much better player then frye more energy everytime he is out there. But my guess is the wolves will get him to keep KG happy and isiah prob isnt allowed to make trades, he is probably grounded
