Penn State will open Big Ten play this year with a nationally televised game in prime time at Beaver Stadium against Iowa.
The school and ESPN on Wednesday announced the 8 p.m. start for the conference opener on Sept. 26.
It will be the Nittany Lions' first crack at the Hawkeyes since an Iowa victory last November gave Penn State its first loss of the 2008 campaign. Penn State ended up winning the Big Ten and making a trip to the Rose Bowl.
Times for other 2009 home games have yet to be announced.
