Could Penn State and Nebraska be renewing their rivalry?

According to this story, the two schools may be planning a home-and-home football series starting in 2012. More information can be found in this article by Steve M. Sipple of the Lincoln Journal Star. Thoughts?

I really hope they can renew this series. I love to see high profile programs face each other rather than schedule a bunch of cupcakes for easy wins just to qualify for a bowl game. I also believe these type of games help tremendously in recruiting, and this is why Nebraska in particular needs to play these games. There simply is not a large enough population base in Nebraska to field a contending Div. 1 team so they need to aggressively recruit every region of the country and these games excite the kids plus in many instances will give them an opportunity to play in front of family and friends even if they do decide to attend Nebraska more than a thousand miles from home.

I'm with you, desertrat. Personally, I feel that no Division I-A school should be allowed to play a school that ISN'T Division I-A. And the more Penn State-Nebraska and Nebraska-UCLA type series there are out there, the better.
