| Joe Paterno salary According to a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision yesterday, Penn State University and the state's retirement system must reveal the salary of head football coach Joe Paterno. "Yesterday's decision is expected to pave the way for the disclosure of not just Paterno's salary, but the salary of any Penn State employee enrolled in the retirement system. Enrolling in the system makes each a 'state employee' under state law," claims the Philadelphia Inquirer. What do you think? | Re: Joe Paterno salary I've always felt that if there were a justifiable reason for someone to know my salary then fine, but if every Tom, Dick & Harry feels they need to know it for no reason other than curiosity then no. There is no reason to make it public. It would be nice to know that salaries are being kept at a reasonable level especially as a tax payer .. but I know better. Overall I'm not convinced EVERYONE needs acess to this info.
