| Paterno deals with more player issues Penn State head coach Joe Paterno acknowledged today that some of his players might have been involved in a campus fight over the weekend. In addition, Paterno said senior tailback Austin Scott, who did not dress for last Saturday's Iowa game because of an unspecified violation of team rules, will not play Saturday against Wisconsin at Beaver Stadium. PSU police spokesman Tyrone Parham said today his department is investigating a fight that took place on campus early Sunday morning. Parham said an incident involving five to 10 people broke out at the conclusion of an organized dance at the Hetzel Union Building. Parham said the incident left one person with a bloody nose. The person received medical treatment at the scene and was released. Parham said the investigation into the fight continues and that he will not release any names unless charges are filed. "I've been alerted that there might have been a couple football players involved in a fight,'' Paterno said today during his news conference. "To what extent, to what degree, you know, what happened, I'm not quite sure yet. And until I find out what's going on, I think I'd be better off not getting into that.''
