According to
a recent article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Penn State will feature a very young defensive line in 2007.
"Seven players are in their first or second seasons, including three projected sophomore starters -- left tackle Phil Taylor, right tackle Jared Odrick and right end Maurice Evans," the article points out, adding that redshirt junior Josh Gaines is the lone returning starter. "Three redshirt freshmen -- tackles Abe Koroma and Ollie Ogbu and end Aaron Maybin -- and freshman end Eric Latimore are among those vying for playing time." Will such a young group up front be effective?
