Deep in his heart, the Blue Mountain junior lineman wanted to receive scholarship offers from three schools — Penn State, Connecticut and Rutgers.
When the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Stankie-witch got his wish, he quickly narrowed his selection.
Stankiewitch became the first Blue Mountain football player to accept a scholarship offer from Penn State on Saturday, when he verbally committed to play for Joe Paterno and the Nittany Lions.
