HERSHEY -- Here are essential details about somebody expected to play a major role in the future of Penn State's offensive line:
* Josh Marks lives on 350 acres in Numidia, population 254.
* The land is occupied by 2,300 pigs.
* Most of the food Marks consumes grew on that land.
* Marks uses his 6-foot-4 frame to succeed in another sport.
As future teammates lift, relax or prepare for spring practices, Marks, who played on four PIAA Class A Championship teams at District 4 Southern Columbia, has spent this weekend inside the Giant Center, attempting to earn family respect as a wrestler.
Marks advanced to the semifinals of the PIAA Class AA Championships where he lost to Keystone Oaks senior and Pitt football recruit Myles Caragein 4-0 Friday night.
Marks, who signed a letter-of-intent with Penn State last month, comes from a wrestling family. His father, John Marks, placed fourth at 185 pounds in 1984. His uncle, Jerry Marks, claimed two PIAA Class AA titles for Southern Columbia. Another uncle, Shaun Gall, placed fifth at 189 in 2000.
