Well, Penn State's stay in the NIT was a short one. They lost to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights by a 76-71 score. Travis Parker scored 21 points and pulled down 12 boards for PSU, but the Lions just didn't have the answer for Quincy Douby of Rutgers, who scored 32 points incluidng eight 3-pointer field goals. Penn State went down swinging, though, mounting a fierce fourth-quarter rally but falling just short. It was a good season for PSU though, wasn't it?

Ton of student support for the PSU basketball team. They played poorly to start the game and still had a chance to win. Looks like good things are in store for PSU basketball.

Most definitely. They've got the Big Ten Freshman of the Year returning in Jamelle Cornley and a pair of talented sophomores in F Geary Claxton and G Mike Walker. They could easily make a run at a conference title and an NCAA berth next season.
