Penn State Outback Bowl

The Penn State Nittany Lions (8-4) will face an SEC team to be announced later tonight in the 2007 Outback Bowl, which will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on January 1. The game is set to start at 11 am on New Years Day and will be televised on ESPN. Any speculation as to who the opponent for JoePa's crew will be?

Re: Penn State Outback Bowl

The Nittany Lions' opponent in the Outback Bowl will be the Tennessee Volunteers. It's going to be a tough game; think Penn State can pull out the victory, or will Erik Ainge, Robert Meachem and company be too much for this team to handle?

Re: Penn State Outback Bowl

Word is that Paterno may not coach the game from the sidelines. That's a shame.

Re: Penn State Outback Bowl

Penn State and Tennessee are tied 10-10 at the half. Morelli went 10 for 17 for 142 yards and a touchdown in the first two quarters. Should be a good second half as well. Can the Lions pull ahead and win this one?
