| Re: Joe Paterno's successor Who is going to eventually replace Joe Paterno as the Nittany Lions head coach? Well, according to the author of the above column, "I think Penn State is going to stay in-house. My guess is that Tom Bradley is Paterno's successor. He is a tremendous recruiter and he has the reputation of a player's coach. His only drawback is that he has never been a head coach. Then again, Paterno was never a head coach before he was named Penn State's coach in 1966. The interesting development will be after the new coach is hired. If it is Bradley, will he be allowed to bring in a new offensive staff? Or will he feel obligated to keep the same people as Paterno. Let's face it: Penn State's problems have not been on defense in recent years. The reason this team has slipped some is the offense."
Is Tom Bradley the best choice for PSU? Who would you like to see them hire? |
