Re: Nittany Lions vs. Temple Owls

Penn State lost to Wisconsin, falling to 6-4 on the season, but Temple was blown out by Central Michigan. So who do you think wins this one? My money would be on the Lions to whip the 1-9 Owls, who clearly are one of the worst teams in college football this season. Would you agree?

Post Nittany Lions vs. Temple Owls (AP preview)

No JoePa, no problem? Well, sure sounds like he'll at least be at the game in spirit!

STATE COLLEGE - Joe Paterno won't be around Saturday at Beaver Stadium, though Penn State wideout Deon Butler knows exactly what his injured coach wants to accomplish against Temple.

The top priority is a win. Scoring more points would be nice, too.

“Though he's injured, he's still going to get his point across, some way, somehow,” Butler said.
Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley and offensive coordinator Galen Hall will share coaching duties. Can they lead PSU to a win over the Temple Owls today? Wait a minute, what am I saying? I could coach Penn State to a win over Temple!

Re: Nittany Lions vs. Temple Owls

Penn State rolls in this one, 47-0, and afterwards the game ball went to Paterno.

"This game couldn't come soon enough," senior linebacker and team captain Paul Posluszny told the Pittsburgh Post Gazette after the game. "We all wanted to go out and play well for coach Paterno. We knew he would be watching. We just wanted to go out there and do it for him."
