| Re: Fake Penn State Football Tickets? Scary news here, Penn State fans - looks like counterfit tickets to Nittany Lions football games are becoming more and more of a problem. Thankfully, this article does provide some advice on how to make sure your tix are the genuine article.
"Since each ticket has a unique bar code, counterfeits will get caught before they get into the game," the author writes. "There are ways to check if a ticket might be fake before buying. The easiest is to turn it over and rub the ink. The words Penn State should disappear for a second or two, then come back. But Meredith warns the only way to be 100 percent sure is deal with Penn State directly, or a reputable ticket agency."
Anyone here ever unfortunate enough to have fake tickets in the past? Or does anyone have any additional advice that all of us could use to help protect ourselves from these ticket scammers?
