Sens drop home opener
Martin Gerber made 38 saves and Alexandre Picard scored his first goal as a Senator, but Ottawa couldn't rebound from a couple of goals by Johan Franzen and fell 3-2 to Red Wings on Saturday night at Scotiabank Place.
