Emery's days as a Senator are over

Ottawa's put him on waivers - the team that wants him will have to pay half of the $6.725 million still on his contract, with the Senators paying him the rest. If nobody wants him, the Senators will then proceed with buying him out.
In that case, the Senators are only on the hook for one-third of his remaining salary, or $2.275 million, which can be paid out over the next four seasons.
He ended the season with 12-13-4 record, a 3.13 GAA and a .890 save percentage in 31 games - and he's just trouble.

his downfall continues - he cleared waivers. He's a UFA after being bought out by the Sens.
They wave bye bye with nary a glance backward.

Do you think he'll catch on anywhere, blue, or is he done?

Re: Emery's days as a Senator are over

I think he's kind of scary. I think first and foremost his game stunk - so who wants that?
But second, he's got this attitude and this anger management problem that would definitely seal the deal with a No way.
I mean, there could always be some team that thinks, He'll be good for us.
But I doubt it. Emery is cryptonite.
