| Senators coaching search Yahoo! Sports has a good article about Brian Murray's search to replace himself as the Ottawa Senators head coach. According to the website, "Murray has made no secret of his desire to speak with Mike Babcock, whom he gave the coaching job to when he was calling the shots in Anaheim. But while Babcock’s contract with Detroit expires at the end of June, it’s difficult to imagine the Red Wings not making him a lucrative, long-term deal, especially with the way he has them playing in the playoffs... If not Babcock, Murray is expected to lean toward a Babcock-type, someone who demands accountability from his players." It also says that Pat Quinn and Pat Burns are not candidates for the job, but Bob Hartley, the OHL's Peter DeBoer and former Ottawa captain Randy Cunneyworth are. So who do you think they should go after? Senators Team Report - NHL - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Senators coaching search they have a coach. Craig Hartsburg is the new head coach. He has coached the OHL's Sioux Greyhounds for the last 4 years. Melnyk says he was always their number one choice - of a group which included Bob Hartley. |
