Ha ha... I have to admit I get a kick out of that.
But hey, the Senators have made 11 consecutive playoff appearances. Not bad.
They got the better of the Pens last year, the Pens returned the favor this year.
Maybe next year we'll see the rubber match?

Re: Ottawa

Senators choke. They have a history of choking and they've done it again.
Although - didn't it seem like they didn't have the stuff? i am not belittling the Penguins skills - on the contrary, there was no contest. It just seemed like Ottawa was beaten from the start. Spent all their gas that first part of the season and they've been chugging along since then. What was the downfall? Why so great and then the almost bottoming out (if the season had been another week long, Sens would have probably not even made it into the playoffs)?
What happened with coach Paddock that led to the losses and then the firing and Murray taking over?
Huge changes will come. I think they like gerber but moody Emery is out. They still love Alfredsson so who will pay the price? Redden? Philips? Neil (haha)?
Melnyk says Murray will remain as GM. But who will coach? Hartley's name (former Atlanta coach, former cup winner with Colorado) is being thrown around.
