You get penalized for that, unless the refs let it slide. If your team scores a goal and a guy comes over and hammers them twice, I know you guys would be screaming at the TV like me. Or at least in your head.

True, but in my head, I would know it's not that big a deal. He really didnt do that much to him. Just gave him one shot from behind, that they were face to face, and he gave one more before players from both sides got involved.

I don't ever wanna see contact legislated out of the game. Dirty play yes, but what I saw between those two was no big deal.

If anything, I thought the refs were too tough on both sides. I think there were two game misconducts handed out during that game.

So Spezza was kicked out of that game - from yahoo:
Spezza turned his back to Biron and raised his arms in celebration, but Biron shoved him in the back. Spezza spun around and Biron pushed him again in the chest. Flyers and Senators converged in front for a brief skirmish.
Biron earned a roughing penalty, and Spezza was hit with a butt-ending major and was ejected.

Biron did it in Buffalo last year. A guy hit Spacek and he drilled the guy in the head twice, and years ago he crushed a guy along the boards and drilled him in the head. He is a nasty little bugger ain't he?
