We have it up in carolina so I'll post the news here - Eaves and Corvo (who apparently the Canes have been romancing for a few weeks) for Commodore and Stillman.
They want to back up the scoring of heatley, Spezza and Alfredsson, who seem to be the only scorers at some -if not most - games. Stillman's the scorer - Commodore? I guess he adds some fire. he does a lot of time in the box.
Canes wanted a strong defenseman and they got it in Corvo. Eaves has his moments on the ice, but he's also off the ice a lot (injured). His name was bandied around quite a bit in this month preceding re trading him somewhere.
What I like is Ottawa did something even though they are one of the best. You have to do something to get better and they made the move.
