Actually, Richardson has played on so many teams, this must be the fifths or sixths.
Richardson is from Ottawa and he now returns to his hometown to make $500,000, if he stays at the NHL level.
He comes from TB. The Leafs had him a few seasons back and Big Disappointment and some waste of $$$.
Maybe Ottawa knows what to do with the defenceman. They are touting him as the great example to the younger defencemen.
