I am so pleased that the Ducks won last night (3-2 final score, one more win to go) after that especially. Scott niedermayer is truly one of the gentlemen of hockey, and Alfredsson is not. Fisher and Paulsson take the penalties on that too, for the aftermath.
How did he get away with it, the sens captain? Tell me, will this be reviewed?

Definitely agree with you on this one, blue. Blatant cheap shot. You can clearly tell he stops, resets and then shoots the puck right at him. I'm positive there will be a suspension for this, and I hope Ottawa loses Game 5 and I hope it's directly because they're missing Alfredsson's presence so they can hang the goat horns right on him.

I actually hope they take the high road this next game, and just beat the pants of the sens, flip them the bird and then shake hands.

He didn't, Alfredsson is lying and Murray is doing what coaches do, cover for their players.
Alfredsson is embarrassed and angry about losing and that is all he'll say on it, i am sure.
The weird thing is, around Toronto the media is saying, hey this is strange for such a graceful and gracious player...
I'm telling you, Alfredsson has done the cheapest things and gotten away with them, because of who he is - the swedish captain of the Sens.
He does this, he doesn't get called AGAIN - I hope it follows him the rest of his career.

I also agree that it was a dusgusting move... but why it is getting more attention to what Pronger did and even against the Wings ? I believe this has been blown wayyyyyyy out of porportion cause Leaf fans had something to talk about. Pretty sad to be honest.

pronger was suspended, Alfredsson wasn't - that should please you enough. That seems to me the pronger hit got more attention on that alone - the attention that matters.
Leaf fans have nothing to do with the choices - good and bad - your captain makes. We are not that powerful
