Bill Mayfair had a cancerous testicle removed two weeks ago, and is now playing in the PGA Championship in Medinah, Illinois. I know there aren't alot of golf fans on goteamsgo but when i read this small blurb in our paper, i thought, Holy smokes.
He hadn't played for two weeks when he was diagnosed, then he took two weeks to recover.
He shot a 3 under par, 69 yesterday. He's three strokes off the lead. I'm impressed.

That's amazing. I hope he winds up winning it. Wouldn't that be something? Heck, its amazing enough that he's even playing this soon after treatment let alone playing so well.
