| Re: Floyd Landis Fails Drug Test WGAL.com - News - Landis Denies Doping Here's a link to Floyd's local news. I live in Lancaster and Floyd's from Farmersville, which is approximately 13 miles from where I live. So he's kind of a local celebrity since he won. I loved the Saturday papers headline when he won: "Tour de Floyd". I can't image shooting your life long dream up in smoke after all you did to get there. But there have been plently of cases with other sports "icons" who have "thrown it all away". I'm going to say that I don't think he "doped", not because I'm "local" but because I don't think he would have spent his entire life dedicated to winning this thing and turn around and taint it, especially since he may never have another chance to do it after his hip replacement. |

| Re: Floyd Landis Fails Drug Test And NOW he's claiming it was dehydration that made the high teststerone level. A prof in Montreal says if that was the case, all tennis players and marathon runners would test positive all the time and they don't. Plus Landis was shown drinking constantly while he was riding. Next, he's questioned the validity of the French lab. Which he never would have done if they found him negative to begin with. Just fess up and stop wasting our time. Second test results come out today, but they say with the results of the first, the second - if a negative - will not clear him. |
