I love and i hate watching Lindsay play. She is so big and so strong, and very classy, very cool- but she is so hard on herself. I know she's got some grand slams under her belt (a long time ago) but her confidence defeats her. So while she plays a good physical game of tennis? the mental part is very hard to watch.

Thus the swing in the score...she took the second set 6-1 and just didn't really show up for the 1st and 3rd...but you know this is really not so much about Lindsay, and so much more about Hingis on the comeback trail...#19 and rising

not taking away from Hingis - it's great to see someone come back and be better (looks that way so far anyway). She's the better player right now, and so mentally strong, i think. I just wish davenport could have won one last slam title. She deserves it - you can just see her beating herself up about something, and then her game slides downhill.

Yeah well Davenport is so physcial that if she was mentally tough you'd have one fierce animal to beat...let sleeping dogs lie fo now...she is next years story...
