Re: Aussie V8's in NZ

I can see that this topic generates a lot of interest LoL

After a great weekend of racing in Hamilton the cars all arrived back at my work yesterday for the flights back to Australia. The cars and equipment are flown back across the "Ditch" as we refer to the Tasman Sea on two 747 freighters which we load. Its a nice change from our usual freight. I helped load the planes last year and have a heap of pics of them inside the 747 where they are double stacked........might take the camera this arvo

Clutch, is there any way us Stateside people can tune into a webcast or some sort of broadcast like IRL has done?

I would love to watch some V8 action because it sounds really cool, but being here in the U.S. of A., as you are aware, it's very hard to find anything else other than the major sports on TV... much less auto racing from across the really big pond!

Am unsure Gnome, obviously they are all televised here on local channels
Had a look at their website and couldnt see where overseas enthusiasts could keep up to date.......frustrating.......I find the same thing when trying to see a CTS race

sorry Clutch .. I started to post something the other day and got distracted and completely forgot about it. was gonna ask you who you thought might be the guy to beat. from the looks of things Garth Tander is putting everyone else in the rear view mirror. I suspect he's gonna walk away with the championship unless someone figures out how to slow him down...

Gnome, go to this website: V8 Supercars and under "FanZone" at the bottom is the "TV Broadcast" info.
