Volkswagen have finalised their line-up for the 2008 Dakar Rally with the four-car team looking much the same as the one that turned out for this year's event.
Two-time world rally champion Carlos Sainz returns to the squad for a third straight year and will be partnered by South African Giniel de Villiers and American Mark Miller.
The one new addition to the squad though is three-time German rally champion Dieter Depping, 40, who replaces Ari Vatanen in the final one of the team's disel-powered Touaregs.
"I already feel extremely comfortable in the Volkswagen Race Touareg since I was in action during every test this year and was able to complete many valuable kilometres", said Depping.
