J.J. Redick intends to plead guilty to drunken driving charges, The Herald-Sun of Durham reported Wednesday
Redick, the first-round draft pick of the
Orlando Magic, plans to plead guilty to charges of driving while impaired and unlawful use of highways, according to a letter sent from Redick's lawyer to the district attorney's office, the newspaper reported.
Redick was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday to face the charges, but the appearance reportedly was delayed until Oct. 24, when Redick's attorney Donald Beskind would be available.
