All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson returned to the Orlando Magic for Game 1 of the NBA finals, playing the entire second quarter before struggling in the second half against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
Nelson finished with six points on 3-of-9 shooting in 23 minutes of the Magic’s 100-75 loss.
“I thought he played well in the second quarter. I was happy. I thought he was getting in the paint on his pick-and-rolls,” Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. “I thought he was making really good plays.”
“And then in the second half I didn’t think he was very good at all, made one good play right at the start of the second half, and then I think he was forcing shots and plays after that, turned the ball over. I just didn’t think he was very good in the second half.”

whatever he was struggling with, it must have been catching. He wasnt the only one struggling in the second half. But before he "caught" it, he was impressive.

No...he was okay, then he lost rythmn...I mean he hasn't played in a while...so once he lost rythmn he could not get it back...

The team has bad though...Lewis didn't count on Odom being in his face...
Turkoglu disappeared in the second quarter...and the Magic have no bench outside of Gotak and Pietrus...

He should have. Of course he was probably counting on Howard being doubled all the time but Bynum kept him in hand.
I love Turk. He's usually better on the road than at home though.
