No Howard, no problem for the Magic
Even without Dwight Howard and Courtney Lee, the Magic embarrassed the Sixers in a 114-89 win.
Center Sam Dalembert of the Sixers said he was happy he didnt have to face Howard and he "was free to be"
This backfired on him as subs turned starters Marcin Gortat and JJ Reddick moved into the starting five and took the Sixers apart.
Gortat, who averaged fewer than five points and 13 minutes a game during the regular season, outplayed Dalembert, outscoring him 11-8, outrebounding him 15-13, throwing down a thunderous left-handed dunk over him in the third quarter. Redick added 15 points, all on 3-pointers, to counteract whatever advantage the Sixers thought they could exploit against him when they had the ball.
