EUGENE -- Oregon played a little more than half of a basketball game at McArthur Court on Monday night, which was enough to give the 11th-ranked Ducks a 97-88 victory over Western Michigan in the third game of the World Vision Invitational.
It's the little less than a half the Ducks didn't play that was cause for concern.
Oregon struck a pose not unlike last season's final eight team for 26 minutes, then went into a defensive funk that gave the mid-major Broncos a chance to come back for the win.
