| Monday notes Oregon wide receiver Derrick Jones, whose breakaway speed has been missed in recent weeks - could play Thursday night against Arizona in Tucson. Oregon coach Mike Bellotti hasn't officially lifted the suspension, but it's sounding like Jones is back in at least pretty good graces after an arrest for driving on a suspended license, academic issues (and pulled wisdom teeth and a sprained ankle...). Jones' return "would help the speed quotient of our receivers,'' Bellotti said. Jones, of course, didn't play in last year's 37-10 debacle against the Wildcats at Autzen Stadium. Neither did a lot of Ducks who were in uniform and on the field of play. "Poor tackling, turnovers, everything - we just gave in halfway through,'' linebacker Kwame Agyeman said. Full Story
