| Ducks one rung from title shot EUGENE -- The Oregon Ducks, thanks to a 35-23 win over Arizona State on Saturday, are now one step away from the top two in the Bowl Championship Series standings -- the spots that will play for the national title. The Ducks moved up two spots to No. 3, leapfrogging the previously unbeaten Sun Devils and taking advantage of the first loss suffered by Boston College (27-17 to Florida State). Oregon trails Ohio State (10-0) and Louisiana State (8-1). If all this sounds familiar to Oregon coach Mike Bellotti, he won't let it worry him -- yet. Full Story

| Re: Ducks one rung from title shot Plenty of chances - OSU could theoretically lose to either Illinois (if they get caught sleeping) or Michigan, and LSU still has some tough games including the SEC title game. As long as the Ducks can keep winning, the odds of one of the two teams above them faltering are quite good.
