| Re: Las Vegas Bowl: Oregon vs. BYU That's a tough one. The Ducks play in the touch Pac-10 Conference and BYU is a standout in a weak Mountain West Conference. If Oregon's pass defense shows up for at least half the game I think the Ducks take the win, or at least cover the spread. The mormons don't like Las Vegas anyway and they probably can't wait to go home and spread the good word. Ducks 34, Mormons 24 |

| Re: Las Vegas Bowl: Oregon vs. BYU Big win by BYU last night. QB John Beck threw for 375 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-8 Cougars win over the Oregon Ducks in the Las Vegas Bowl. According to the AP, "Beck was 28-for-46 with two interceptions, and got plenty of help. Curtis Brown ran for 120 yards and two TDs, Jonny Harline, voted game MVP, caught nine passes for 181 yards and Justin Robinson intercepted two passes for BYU, which shut out the Ducks (7-6) through three quarters." It was BYU's first bowl win since 1996.

| Re: Las Vegas Bowl: Oregon vs. BYU The Ducks laid a giant egg. What a finish to the season. The team quit in the game, as it appears they quit on the season after they lost a game. I guess if they would have had the officiating crew that called the OU game, they might have had a chance--then again....
