Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

Both the Sooners and the Ducks are undefeated, and both have featured impressive runnng backs - OU has Adrian Peterson, and Jonathan Stewart for the Ducks. I've been predicting that Oklahoma, with Paul Thompson at QB, has been due for a loss. UAB came close, but will Oregon be the first to actually hand Bob Stoops' club a loss in 2006?

Oregon is good, and will be looking for revenge after last years bowl loss. I think Stoops will do just enough in the end to pull it out. Of course, I thought Texas would handle Ohio State so what do I know??

Its going to be Oregon I hope we won't have to resort to the kicker but I've been talking s*** at school on how the Ducks are going to be undefeated I don't want to be proven wrong at least not yet

What the keys to the game, Kasey Fan? What does Oregon need to do to win (besides shut down Peterson).

Re: Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

As you said Shuting down peterson. Weth Stewart coming back and Dixon playing good football. we will go 70% run and 30% pass. are defence will most likley go for the run

WHAT A FINISH! Oregon beats Oklahoma, 34-33, after blocking a last second field goal. Congrats to the Ducks for a major, major win. Dixon throws for 350+ yards and a pair of touchdowns, and despite the fact that Adrian Peterson ran for over 200 yards and a score, it wasn't enough for OU. Game of the day, no doubt about it.

I don't see how any Ducks fan can take pride in the outcome of this game. Wonder what the outcome would have been with out Pac10 officials? Even Dan Fouts could not believe that the officials didn't reverse that horrible call on the on-side kick. The to top it off how can they not see an obviously tips ball on the whatever pass interference call.
Take pride ducks 33-27 and 0-7 vs the Sooners. If you don't believe this then your blind desperate. Have some pride and admit to being handed a gift.

Re: Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

Well, I seriously doubt any Ducks fans are going to give back the win. I mean, would you? Bad calls happen in sports. Shame it happened to your favorite team, but sometimes you get the calls and sometimes the other guys get the calls. Still, you guys almost pulled this one out with that field goal try at the end, but it was not meant to be I guess.

Re: Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

The officiating at the end of that game was a joke. Sooner fans have a right to be pissed. The replay official needs to be banned from college sports. Oregon was handed a victory.

Re: Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

Go to NewsOK.com | Powered by The Oklahoman and NEWS 9 and check out the replay of IRREFUTABLE evidence that OU recovered the ball on the onside kick! Not to mention the ball not going 10 yards, or that OU player Malcolm Kelly getting bumped before touching the ball. The video is INDISPUTABLE!!!

Re: Oklahoma Sooners @ Oregon Ducks

Well, to quote Berry Tramel of The Oklahoman, "This was a game in Sooner control and it became a Sooner defeat." Yes, you guys got some bad calls, but you know what? The Raiders are still crying about the Tuck Rule game, and they still could've won that with a defensive stop. Despite the bad call on the onsides, the Sooner D still could've manned-up and stopped Oregon. Your kick team could blocked better and allowed that field goal to get up. There were still opportunities to overcome the bad calls.

All I'm saying is, don't put ALL of this defeat on a few bad calls. OU has to at least share the blame.
