Very important game for both teams and should be a good one. Oregon has played only one road game this season and it was a loss to Boise St. Ducks need to prove they can win on the road. Starting QB Prinze, who broke his jaw in the Tennessee game is expected to be back this week.

Ducks got some bad news today concerning injuries. Willie Glasper, who had been starting for Walter Thurmond who is done for the season, is also now out for the season with a high knee injury. Ducks are getting thin at the CB position.

Ducks starting QB Masoli is now doubtful for the UCLA game. Nathan Costa who blew his knee out two seasons in a row, has been running the first team offense this week, will probably get the start. Should be interesting.

UCLA has struggled on offense, but their defense has been pretty good. Oregon appears to just be hitting their stride on both sides of the ball and looks like the team that finished in the Top 10 last year. I think the Ducks will take care of UCLA but don't expect any blowout this week.

Well, it appears the Ducks are going to be starting Nathan Costa at QB. This will be his first start ever but he is really good. Nate had actually won the starting QB job for the Ducks the last two years but blew his knee out two years in a row in summer camp. A great story here.

It was UCLA leading the Ducks 3-0 at the half. Oregon opens the second half and explodes. Bring opening kickoff back for a touchdown!!! Lead 7-3. On UCLA's first possession of second half UCLA QB Prince throws an interception back for a touchdown by Jackson. Ducks now lead 14-3 and haven't ran a play yet offensively in 2nd half. GO DUCKS!

The explosion continues! Costa to Jeff Maehl for a touchdown! Ducks up 21-3. Ducks have scored 21 points in the first 6 minutes of the second half. WOW!

Ducks leads the Bruins 24-10 to start the 3rd Qtr. UCLA has a new QB Richard Brehut starting the 4th qtr. I haven't heard of Prince got hurt or what the deal is.

Oregon gets punt blocked inside their 15 yard line. Bruins got to the Ducks 10 and for the second time in this game Ducks defense holds and Ducks take over on their 10. Score is still 24-10 with 6 minutes left in this game.

Ducks win game 24-10 over the Bruins in the Rose Bowl. Oregon has now won 5 in a row and all alone in first place in the PAC 10...see what happens with Stanford vs OSU tonight.
