This game worries me a little but not a lot. If this game was played up in the Palouse, I would worry more. This is defenitely a letdown type of game where I don't think the Ducks totally show up here. Cougars are starting a true freshman at QB, will make his college debut against the Ducks at Autzen Stadium which is a recipe for disaster. He actually played pretty well against the USC Trojans coming off the bench last week.

I expect Masoli to pad his stats as he finally came alive last week against the Bears. Ducks should win in a blowout here but I have seen stranger things.

The Duck's are favored by 33.5 which seems like alot to me. I know Washington State is not a great team but the emotions after a huge win over Cal plus the loss of two star players might make this closer than the odds makers think.

I agree Tuck, Ducks traditionally in heavily favored games find a way to either make it close or actually lose these type of games only because they don't show up. However, the Cougars are so bad but better than last year, will be outclassed in this game and probably not cover that 33 point spread. See what happens?

Well, it is half time in a very close game as Ducks lead 42-0...LOL It was great to see the Duck's backup QB Nathan Costa score his first touchdown since he played as a true freshman!

Costa is a great story as he was suppose to be the starting QB for the Ducks the last 2 seasons coming out of fall/summer camp but blew out both knees and has had 3 surgeries the last 2 years. This guy never gives up as he is a Junior this year and used a medical redshirt to gain an extra year. Take my word for it, this guy is good enough to start for about any team in this country. I just hope he stays healthy. He is an awesome story of somebody who doesn't give up and very brave. Awesome QB by the way.

Ducks win 52-6 and get ready for a big game in the Rose Bowl next week against UCLA who lost to the Cardinal today. Games get more larger every week.
