| Unbeaten Rebels rise to No. 18 The Ole Miss men's basketball team jumped to No. 18 in both major national polls on Monday, continuing its climb under second-year coach Andy Kennedy. Ole Miss (12-0) was ranked No. 22 last week in The Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll. The Rebels played once since then, beating Southern Miss 78-58 at DeSoto Civic Center on Friday night. While the Rebels say they're not focused on the rankings, they're also not taking them for granted. "A lot of guys have been here for four years and never been ranked so it's good for everybody," said Ole Miss forward Terrance Watson, a junior college transfer in his first season with the Rebels.
