OXFORD — Ole Miss coach Ed Orgeron confirmed that redshirt quarterback Jevan Snead had a minor surgery recently, but he would be ready for spring practice.
"He had a little surgery on his knee - nothing major," Orgeron said. "And I'll repeat - nothing major."
Orgeron's paranoia about Snead's health is understandable considering how he's hyped the quarterback's talent.
Snead transferred from Texas to Ole Miss before the season and is expected to take over the quarterback position next season with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
