TUSCALOOSA — As Ole Miss football coach Ed Orgeron evaluated his team, he wanted to give more options to powerful running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
If his name is a mouthful to say, the senior running back has also proved to be a handful to tackle. Green-Ellis, at 5-11, 225, is the key to a revamped Ole Miss offense that is physical and more versatile this season.

“He’s what we built our offense around,” third-year coach Orgeron said of Green-Ellis. “He’s outstanding between the tackles, but we wanted to get him on the edge and create mismatches against cornerbacks and safeties. He’s a workhorse. He forces teams to play eight in the box, which opens up the passing game.”
