| Notebook: Adams shows consistency at QB OXFORD — Ole Miss quarterback Seth Adams has thrown for 200 yards in four of his first five games this season, and coach Ed Orgeron continues to be impressed with the way the former walk-on has adapted to his role as the starter. Adams ranks fourth in the SEC in multiple categories, including pass efficiency (137.9 rating), touchdown passes ( "You want your quarterback to be an extension of the football staff on the football field," Orgeron said.
