| Green-Ellis' big game small consolation after another defeat ATHENS, GA. — Ole Miss running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis' busted lip had swollen to nearly twice its normal size late Saturday afternoon. But the running back said it didn't bother him as much as Ole Miss' 45-17 loss at Georgia. "We feel bad because we didn't do enough to help our team win," he said. Green-Ellis and the Ole Miss ground game turned in a solid day against the Bulldogs even if it wasn't enough for the Rebels to win. After struggling most of the season to run the ball, Green-Ellis led a ground attack that opened holes and ripped off yardage en route to a 158-yard effort. It was a stark contrast from the past two weeks, when Green-Ellis had grown visibly frustrated and even called his performance "garbage" after being bottled up by Vanderbilt and Florida. But the Rebels found much more running room Saturday. Green-Ellis led the charge with 108 yards, while Bruce Hall chipped in a season-high 44. "They were able to run the ball too well," Georgia coach Mark Richt said. Green-Ellis - who ran for 135 yards against the Bulldogs last season - topped the 100-yard mark even though he hurt his lip early in the game. He went to the sideline on a few occasions for some maintenance, but the breaks gave Hall a chance to take his cracks at Georgia's defense. But Green-Ellis and coach Ed Orgeron said the effort wasn't enough. The Rebels needed more after being held to 59 yards in the second half. "Offensively, for awhile, I liked what we were doing," Orgeron said. "We had a good game plan." Green-Ellis' big game small consolation after another defeat
