| Georgia fearful of blocked punts OXFORD — Ole Miss' special teams haven't had a big season so far, but Georgia coach Mark Richt hasn't forgotten what the Rebels did against the Bulldogs last October. Ole Miss wreaked havoc on the Bulldogs' punt team, blocking one kick and getting another that was nullified by a penalty in the 14-9 loss. So finding a way to keep the Rebels (1-3, 0-2 SEC) at bay has been a big emphasis for No. 15 Georgia (3-1, 1-1). "They exposed our punt protection like no one ever had," Richt said. "We had never had a punt blocked until that game." The one that counted was blocked by cornerback Cassius Vaughn, helping the Rebels take an early lead in an eventual 14-9 loss. The Rebels had so much success, Richt said the Bulldogs are preparing for more pressure. "They got us last year; I'm sure they will try to get us again," Richt said. If nothing else, Ole Miss has been just as aggressive this season. Strong safety Jamarca Sanford blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown by free safety Kendrick Lewis in the 23-21 win at Memphis. Notebook: Georgia fearful of blocked punts
