| Another spread offense gives OLe Miss defense fits OXFORD — BenJarvus Green-Ellis runs the ball every bit as bullishly as Ole Miss coaches expected. He's a load. Quarterback Seth Adams throws the ball better than anybody - except maybe he and his daddy - expected. A fifth-year senior and first-time starter, the guy's a good, solid quarterback. Against Missouri on Saturday night, Green-Ellis willed his way for 226 yards. Adams threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns. Yes, and Missouri still beat Ole Miss by two touchdowns, 38-25. That's because Missouri had its way with the Ole Miss defense. Chase Daniel, a chunky magician of a quarterback, threw for 330 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 66 more yards on 10 carries. Missouri, like Memphis last week, spread the Ole Miss defense out with a shotgun formation with multiple receivers. Daniel then picked the Rebels apart. And, unlike Memphis, Missouri did nothing to contribute to the Rebels' cause. Missouri ran 80 offensive plays for 559 yards - with no turnovers. Another spread offense gives UM defense fits
