| OLe Miss Football: Rebs rock, don't roll OXFORD — Seth Adams turned in the best performance by an Ole Miss quarterback since the Eli Manning era, flipping the ball around the field against Missouri's defense in the second half Saturday night. Tailback BenJarvus Green-Ellis was equally impressive, sprinting through big holes en route to the fifth-best rushing performance in school history. Together, the two seniors helped Ole Miss crank out 534 yards, easily the best offensive performance in coach Ed Orgeron's three-year tenure. The problem was, quarterback Chase Daniel and Missouri's offensive made sure it was the worst defensive effort in Orgeron's tenure, too. Daniel and the Missouri spread offense carved through the Rebels early, then held on to grab a 38-25 win in front of an announced crowd of 50,897 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The junior tied a school record with five touchdown passes, leading an offense that piled up 559 yards against the Rebels. "That was a real good football team and a very, very good player," Ole Miss defensive coordinator John Thompson said. "They really did some things that we hadn't seen. When you put five wides out there, they got some matchups on us where they had the advantage." UM Football: Rebs rock, don't roll
