So? This isn't Olympic diving. Style points don't matter.

Yes, Memphis ran an amazing 96 offensive plays for 467 yards, compared to 59 plays and 275 yards for Ole Miss.

Who cares? In this case, statistics really were for losers.

Yes, Memphis outgained Ole Miss a whopping 241 yards to 66 in the second half.
