| Rebels' secondary lacks experience OXFORD — Jamarca Sanford wants to make one thing clear: He didn't mind the move to linebacker late last season. Sure, the Ole Miss junior admits he wasn't comfortable being pressed into duty at the new position. He understood it and embraced it, though, realizing it was a necessity because of the suspensions, dismissals and depth problems that plagued the Rebels late last season. But as soon as Sanford got the chance to return to his familiar surroundings in Ole Miss' secondary, he dropped back as quickly as possible. "That's a great thing," Sanford said with a wide smile. "I can't say I hated linebacker. I did it for the team. I had to do it. ... But at safety I feel like I'm back at home." And the Rebels feel much more comfortable with the veteran anchoring a spot in the inexperienced secondary. Rebels' secondary lacks experience -The Clarion-Ledger- Real Mississippi
