The motto for Ed Orgeron Ole Miss Rebel football team in pre-season practice has been to finish strong, and that continued in practice on Friday as the team hit the field in pads to close out the week of practice before the annual Meet the Rebels event on Saturday.

The offense stood out, especially the performance of the running game, as Ole Miss worked through drills in the afternoon heat.

“ Our offense had an excellent day running the ball today,” said Ole Miss head coach Ole Orgeron. “Benjarvus Green-Ellis, Cordera Eason and Bruce Hall had good days and our fullbacks did a good job of blocking. Our protection was a lot better this afternoon. We shored up some stuff on our protection.”
